A Kaleidoscopic Concert — Dohnanyi’s Sextet — SIX musicians blew the roof off!

RJ Kelley demonstrated his miraculous valveless horn virtuosity; clarinetist Alexander Fiterstein wailed on Gershwin; Gabriela Diaz and Raphael Bell joined Andrew Armstrong for Rachmaninov’s soulful elegiac Piano Trio No. 1; and violist-phenom Matthew Lipman dazzled in music of Rebecca Clarke and Paul Hindemith. All capped by the towering romp of Dohnanyi’s impossibly fun Sextet.
